Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and sulfites are totally banned from the production. Dorian Natural wine is a blend of Roditis (90%) which is responsible for its orange color and Malagouzia (10%). With a sophisticated nose and superb mouth this exceptional blend will amaze those who adore orange wines.

Everyone agrees that Apostolos Thymiopoulos is a real artist when it comes to the art of serious wine making since all of the products he has launched so far have become great hits in Greece and abroad. This time he steps out of his Naoussa terroir to explore Rapsani with a blend which combines 3 important local varieties: Xinomavro (50%), Stavroto (15%) and Krassato (35%). They come from older vines which have not been irrigated and are cultivated with low yields. The must remains first in stainless stell tanks and then in oak barrels for 14 months. Xinomavro, the star variety of Greece’s north, has many different expressions. Rapsani tends to be more fruity with velvet tannins. Rapsani Terra Petra seems to round up the edges of explosive xinomavro into a chic and more delicate red wine that can be enjoyed anytime.

Arlekinon Chora Red is red wine from Cabernet Sauvignion and Assyrtiko, a very surprising combination that most of us have never heard before. Arlekinon Chora is a boutique winery located in the area of Thessaly, in central Greece, at the slopes of Mount Narthakio. Cultivation follows the organic principles and a low intervention philosophy from the vineyard to final vinification is crucial for the production of these very special wines. In Arlekinon Chora they choose to combine a variety like Assyrtiko with a very classic red one in order to come up a lighter more fruity version of the original red. This is why for maturation they use second or third use oak barrels in order to leave the fruit untouched. The final product is delicious. Assyrtiko brings in its dynamic acidity, freshness, attractive fruity character and minerality softening the tannins of Cabernet Sauvignon and creating a totally new experience.

The Kings Court of Fthia, from Arlekoinon Chora Winery, is a wine of limited production that not only has an eye catching name and a beautiful label but has a genius understanding of Assyrtiko (85%) and the way it behaves in a blend with other varieties such as the less known local Batiki variety (15%) from Thessaly, central Greece. A late harvest and a low yield philosophy, which is also due to the hardening of the vines, offer a very concentrated superb final product. Half of the must remains in new French oak for 5 months while the rest for 10 months remains in its fine lees in order to balance complexity and freshness. With full body, medium acidity and a long caramel aftertaste Kings Court of Fthia is a very special wine made to grab the attention everywhere.

Patistis Winery is located in Argalasti, a beautiful village at the foothills of Mount Pelion, the mythical abode of centaures from Greece’s ancient past. The vineyards are cultivated according to the principles of organic farming and Xinomavro grapes are vinified with the traditional blanc de noir method which consists of removing the skins as soon as the fruit juice is extracted from the grapes. Blanc de Noir by Patistis Winery is a blend of the Xinomavro and Assyrtiko varieties which always confirms its fame as a great Greek wine.
