Kapnistos by Dalamaras winery is a blend of Malagouzia and Assyrtiko but with a new twist. Its innovative smoky character has been introduced by Kostis Dalamaras, a very promising young wine maker who is now taking over the management of the winery, which has a history of 180 years. The blend remains in oak barrels for 12 months during which according to a special fermentation technique barrels are not fully filled in order to allow the must to receive more oxygen that will further improve the maturation process. Since the production is limited it is not always the bottles you want if you do not order on time.
