About the winery

Patistis Winery is located at Argalasti not far from the city of Volos, in a piece of land of extreme beauty which lies at the foothills of mount Pilion between the Gulf of Pagasitikos and the Aegean Sea. The vineyards, which offer magical views over the sea, are cultivated according to the principles of organic farming since 1980. The winery has chosen Assyrtiko, Xinomavro, Roditis, Limnio as their main varieties and only two international varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The owners of this family owned winery Andreas and Kostas Patistis believe that “at the heart of every great wine is a unique piece of land and it tells a story through its wines that reach out and whisper its secrets to each one of us”. So every effort is undertaken to preserve the land and in this process the winery creates amazing natural wines with a unique expression of this terroir. Their natural Xinomavro is one of the best we have ever tasted.
