A mix of powerful Xinomavro and lighter local varieties Krasato and Stavroto, Rapsani by Constantinos Liapis’ is a classic Rapsani that you ought to have a place for in your cellar. This is a wine that ferments only with natural yeasts in old oak barrels and then it is bottled without filtering and with no added sulphites.

 APLA ROSE – OENOPS

 APLA rose (means SIMPLY in Greek) by Oenops Winery is a sophisticated blend of 3 local Greek varieties. 60 % Xinomavro from the terroirs of Amynteo and Naoussa, 20% Limniona from the terroir of Messanikola and 20% Mavroudi from Thrace. Part of the Xinomavro quantity matures in amphorae.

 Apostolos Thymiopoulos is responsible for some of the best Greek wines we have come across. Rose Xinomavro – Oenos Nature is one of them. And of course since this is also a fully natural rose, there is no doubt you will fall in love with it. With minimal interventions, ambient yeasts and no sulfites you are destined to adore this exceptional light rose, that is both delicate and dynamic.

 NAOUSSA – DOMAINE KELESIDIS

This is a very unique Xinomavro by Domaine Kelesidis, because it comes from one of the finest vineyards in Naoussa. Yiannakochori produces some of the best wines from Xinimavro. The vines are cultivated according to the organic principles and the result is a wine that is is considered one of the most authentic versions of Xinomavro today.

GOUMENISSA – DOMAINE TATSIS

This perfect Goumenissa is a blend of two indigenous varieties, powerful Xinomavro and exotic Negoska. The vineyards are cultivated according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture and offer grapes of high quality from non-irrigated soils. Organic and environmentally friendly methods of cultivation are used with low yields, limited interventions and fully natural methods of viticulture and vinification.
